After 15 years in corporate life and raising two neurodivergent kids as a single mother, I hit a wall—hard. Not just professional burnout, but full-body, full-soul depletion.

For two years, I did everything I was “supposed” to do. Specialists. Therapies. Gym. Art. Meditation. Still, nothing truly shifted. I felt disconnected, anxious, and stuck in survival mode.

Then one day, I was offered a short break. My instinct? Disappear into the bush, no phone, no talking—just silence. But as I searched, I discovered something surprising: a two-week yoga and meditation retreat in Bali (flight included) cost less than a week in an Australian Airbnb. I said yes.

And it changed everything.

Why I Created This Site

That retreat was more than rest.
It reconnected me—with my body, my spirit, and with stillness.

I didn’t just find peace in the practice—I found myself.
Through yoga, meditation, and sacred healing rituals guided by local Balinese healers, I experienced the kind of shift years of talking therapy hadn’t reached.

That’s when the idea for this site was born.

What You’ll Find Here

Best Healing Retreats isn’t a massive directory.
It’s a personal curation of trusted places that offer true healing potential.

I work with a small selection of retreats across the world—places that meet my criteria for integrity, depth, and meaningful transformation.
Every retreat listed has been chosen with care and built to help people like me—and maybe like you—find calm, clarity, and reconnection.

My intention

I can’t promise that one retreat will fix everything.
But I can say this: the right setting, the right support, and the right practices can open a door you didn’t know was closed.

This platform exists to help you find that door.
